Now how cool is this?? It’s no surprise that the size of this thing fit excatly myspace.com pages. Besides being good example of ‘out of the box’ thinking this will also help artists and labels to sell more music.

I’m here to announce title of my next artist album. It’s going to be called.. ‘Sententia‘. Like previous title ‘Inwardgaze‘ this one also has lot of meaning behind it. If I would try to explain excatly why I’m calling my album Sententia I would have to write a little book. But basicly it’s a Latin word and translates: sentiment, opinion, decision, saying, thought, way of thinking, meaning, purpose, thought, meaning purpose.

The picture of clouds above this text is part of the album artwork and relates with the title and general mood of the album. While ‘Inwardgaze’ was very dark in sound and color ‘Sententia’ is going to be bright and positive but still mellow.

One trick I’m still trying to do is to have fun with track lenghts. As you might know maximum lenght for the audio CD is 78 minutes. That’s the official lenght that’s guaranteed to work in every standard CD player. Then I’ve always thought album should have at least 12 tracks in it, god knows why but that’s how I feel. So then I realised if I’ll make the first track 1 minute long, second track 2 minutes long and so on I will end up with 12 tracks and excatly 78 minutes of music. I ‘m trying to make this happening because in my opinion this idea is just so cool and haven’t find any album like that around.

I’ve decided to aim for zero CO2 emissions. DJs are travelling a lot and our ecological footprint can get very big because of constant flying. So I’m calculating my emissions regulary and donating money for research and development of alternative energy sources. More I’m able save energy, less I have to donate. Simple?

I’m happy to announce that one of my new tracks ‘One Morning By The Riverside‘ has been licensed to forthcoming Nick Warren CD. How this happened is quite incredible story, which I’m to share with you now.

Few months ago I had this idea that I should start searching for a new home label for myself. After spending almost seven hours browsing through different labels I finally found one label that is excatly something I was looking for, credible, respectable, big enough, not too big etc. It was Hope Recordings. So I found out Nick Warren is acting as A&R and his email address was right there on Hope website. So I sent few of my new tracks to Nick hoping for positive reply.

What happened next day was quite incredible. I received message from one friend saying she knows Nick Warren and that Nick had heard about me and that I should send him some demos asap because he was looking for fresh material for a GU compilation. After the message there was very same email address I had sent my demos only 15 hours earlier. Now you can imagine how I felt at that moment.. how can this be?

Lesson learned: Don’t try too much, things will work out by themselves. You just need to trust things will happen for you. In a way I wasted almost one day browsing internet while it was all arranged for me without me even knowing it.

Now I haven’t sign anything with Hope and maybe I never will but I trust there is destiny waiting for this track, I just don’t know it yet.

I’m happy to announce my new show on Frisky Radio. It’s called Intelligent Design and it’s going to be aired every first TUE of the month at 03 - 05pm PST (01 - 03am CET). So far it seems that the first airdate is 6th of february 2007. But there will be reruns like usual and I’m thinking about making a podcast too.

This two hour show is not going to feature guestmixes (well maybe there are exceptions!) but I want to focus on creating a little musical story every month showcasing the best progressive tracks at the moment.

I’m also going to quit my Subtraxx Experience show on DI.fm #trance. Subtraxx show was originally launched by Giorgio Ponticelli about 3(??) years ago. I thank DI.fm for all these years and I’m looking forward to work with Frisky. There is always time for everything and now it feels ok to start something new. btw. I have flipped my coin for this also
