Flow of thoughts regarding creativity and stuff

When drawing a picture, pen divides empty space on the paper into smaller spaces..

If I want to build a house, first I need to break down lot of stuff to get the building material.

Sound divides silence into more silent moments.

Light divides darkness, matter divides vacuum, thoughts divides the mind..

Once we’ve built the walls we divide the space into rooms, rooms are then divided by furniture etc.

Our roads are dividing our landscape

Can we do anything else than create fractals around us?

Is there any way to create something without breaking things into smaller things?

That’s why the words “divination” and “divine”?

What about multiplying? Is that a form of dividing after all?

If guitar string is divided by seven using Phi ratio (1.618..) it results our musical notes.

Dividing light in same way produces the seven main colors.

Nature has divided itself in Phi ratio and we find it beautiful.

Dividing a sound by two doubles it producing the next octave.

Physical structures must follow the same geometry in order to stand up?

If there is only one ratio in divination that results pleasant outcome (music, picture, design) then who owns the copyright?

Composing music is basically arranging predefined stuff within predefined frameset.. How creative is that?

Why instrument makers are not getting any royalties?

No matter how much divination or subtraction, there is always something left..

Why negative numbers in the first place? Debt?

Inner circle can be divided infinitely, so everything can be one but still appear to be separate when observed on smaller scale.

If inifinity can have a border around it, how this applies to the universe?

Maybe there is no need to theory for everything.

If everything is one, there must be the law of one.

How man fits to the universal geometry?

Did Leonardo draw that?

When looking “Vitruvian Man” it seems that the heart is a point of singularity.

If heart is the way to infinite intelligence, did envious brain lock the door from us?

If universe is one living being, we’re probably just bunch of eyes and ears.

If this universal being cares for itself we’ve nothing to worry about?

Speculation for a Synchronisation Theory

Everything moves. Without movement there is no energy, no space, no time, no life, nothing. Movement has a length of cycle and speed. Since sound is movement like any other, what musical harmony can tell us about ourselves and our lives? I spent some time watching people moving and recognised familiar patterns.

Point of View

A rock appears to be dead only because of our point of observation. We’re simply too far away to see the movement. In the same way you won’t see people walking on the earth surface if looking down from space. If you would take look at that rock from atomic scale you would find it filled with life that never stops.

In each of these “zoom levels” some harmony is needed to keep it all together. In every day life most of us are consciously dealing only with our “own” level, although we’re affected by levels above and below to us. But in every scale, properties of “things” always depend on the speed of inner or/and outer movement.

Real Life Beat Matching

Our speed of being alive makes great part of our invidual character. It’s built out of many kind of movements, not just walking or talking but even by how often we blink our eyes, our hobbies, job, favourite movies, tone of voice (relates to speed of sound frequency). Every little aspect of us is constantly reflecting our tempo. It seems that those who are in same tempo are naturally getting along very well. Also our sense of time depends entirely on the movement that happens around us.

Just watch and see: when people meet new people, first thing that usually happens is the other person is trying to match the others body language by imitating the way of talking, gestures, tone of voice, body postures.. Those who’ve “people problems” often expect others to go in sync with them without meeting them in halfway, or they are afraid to let go and have themselves synced? If we’re out of sync with the new person too much or matching process doesn’t happen smoothly, we probably want to leave from the situation? If exit isn’t possible we probably begin to feel anxious and start building defensive walls around us? When this becomes everyday life, people get miserable

Maybe talking about weather is such great way to start a conversation because it’s one of those things we can all agree very easy. Perhaps compassion is an ability to recognise a tempo and adjust to it? Do we like to spend most of our time with people who’re close to our tempo? Are we some times withdrawn to those people whos tempo we like “better” than our own? Hmm, in any case I do know that if you want to walk and hold hands with somebody it’s much easier when your walking is synchronized.

In Sync

Through the effect of resonance, weaker movement gradually shifts into the same sync with stronger movement. It’s known that such things as pendulum clocks in the same room eventually go in sync, people’s hearts in the same room will eventually sync, women living in the same household will sync their menses etc. When a note is played from a piano it makes the corresponding string vibrating from guitar. When someone in a group gets emotional everyone knows.. I believe this applies in all levels of existence including material, biological and emotional systems.

Hmm…

Maybe that’s why hanging out in a group makes you alike? Is that why couples “grow together”? Can a relationship go broke just because there isn’t enough time for hanging out together and couple gets off-synced?

So, possibly, no matter where we’ll go, who we’re with, our tempo might be constantly being pushed to some direction by the surrounding environment. If we find this change unpleasant, we’ll probably feel uncomfortable. If we’re trying to resist, it probably makes it worse? I bet sometimes it’s better to leave than adjust? But what makes some movement pleasant then? Within musical harmony we enjoy to hear frequencies that are in Phi-ratio relationship to each other (1.618..). We also like to see colors that are in Phi-ratio. Besides that our body and all of the nature has this ratio written all over it, everything we naturally find beautifull seems to be constructed in Phi ratio.. This ratio is also the basis of pythagorean musical scale we’re using (although some argue base freq should 417 instead of modern 440). Also the ancient civilizations highly valued Phi and built everything according to it. So, if certain set of notes sound great together, maybe that’s exactly why certain set of people work together?

If so, I gotta ask..

Our body is mostly water. As we know water is extremely responsive to sound. Can constant, non-harmonious, loud and mechanical noise make us physically and emotionally sick?

All food also have its invidual vibration on molecular level and our organs have their own.. Consuming massive amounts of industrially processed food and all kind of synthetic nutrition would slowly mess up everything from the inside of us because there probably isn’t much naturally perfect geometry in them?

We know how some colors can have affect on our mood, making us feel relaxed, happy, stressed, nervous.. and colors and sound match in same way. People with synaesthesia condition are reporting such things as being able to “taste words” and “seeing sounds in colors” and it seems to be consistent, like certain name always tastes vanilla etc. Are all of our senses simply filtering different ranges of the same vibrational field we’re experiencing? What is real?

People who’re studying human behaviour claim that everybody can be boxed in one of 14 categories of personalities. This number varies a bit depending on who you ask from but I find it interesting that this number is always so close to 12, which number of semitones in one musical octave. This makes me think, is it possible that our invidual tempo has a relationship to certain note?

Do we like to expose ourselves to any type of movement which is in harmony with us? Is it possible that this is the underlying reason why we’ve certain taste in music, colors, shapes, tastes and so on?

Is our DNA some kind of signature key that has our “factory default” frequency encoded in it?

Is our environment (especially emotions, thoughts, light and sound) capable of changing our frequency through the resonation and therefore resulting changes in our lives?

Is it a good idea to trust our instincts, because we’re probably intuitively drawn to anything that matches our own tempo or a new tempo (change in life) we’re looking for?

Is this the reason why we love to gather in clubs and huge events? Does this have something to do with such magical vibe on Ibiza? Is this why people want to move together in sync to same music with other people who’re similar to them? In this way we’re the same despite of our background, culture, race, education, financial status..

If all of this is true, how we could use this to make our life better? One thing is for sure: in any situation it would be easier to adjust yourself than the others.

Meditation is important? No matter how fast is the movement outside of you, you can always take over your inner movement by closing your eyes, ignoring the outside, taking over your breathing etc. Through resonance, doing this regulary helps keeping physical body in balance?

But this was just a speculation.. It doesn’t mean anything.
